Oral history interview with Raida Singer, Sept. 16, and Oct. 9, 1986.

Singer shares recollections of her religious upbringing, education, and courtship with her husband, Jacob Singer. She also discusses her husband's background, schooling, and decision to become a rabbi. After being posted to other synagogues, the Singers came to Temple de Hirsch, where they remained for thirteen years. Singer also discusses at length the establishment of Temple B'nai Torah in Bellevue, Washington.
